Beautiful City with the arch, bridges and buildings. Worth driving on the freeways to catch different glimpses of it all. Sunset brings a new color to the Gateway Arch!

While in St. Louis enjoying that beautiful new grandson, we took the opportunity to enjoy some of the delicious culinary traditions the city has to offer!

St. Louis ribs!  Yum!! The place to go - Pappy’s smokehouse. Add some “burnt ends” and sweet potato fries to your ribs!!! Mmm!  I compare all ribs to this place. I say, “It's not as good as Pappy’s!”

Silky’s frozen custard - smooth texture. Ted Drewes - chunky bursts! I’m a Silky’s fan.  

St Louis pizza! Imo’s!  Flat-crunchy crust of St. Louis with Provel cheese.

The Provel cheese is unique to other pizzas. I like the little tang of the cheese. To me it’s ok for flat pizza, but since we went up to Chicago and had deep dish, I’m going to have to vote for Chicago pizza!  Go to St Louis for family and Ribs!
